Our Role In The Industry
Herd Art Studio is an independent art and fabrication studio specialising in sculpture, scenic finishes and custom themed environments. Founded by Hamish and Brenda Herd, the studio supports the themed - entertainment, museum, heritage and attractions industries with specialist artistry that elevates and completes larger design visions.
We do not compete with agencies or creative houses. Instead, we plug into existing teams - bringing hands on craftsmanship, problem solving and a deep understanding of storytelling through physical space.

The Studio

Our workshop is where art and fabrication meet. Equipped for sculpting, carving, coating, moulding, scenic painting and custom construction. From fine detail to large format builds, we handle projects that range from intimate installations to multi-zone themed areas.

Behind the scenes you'll find: Foam, Clay, Resins, Coatings, High-build Textures, Paints, Pigments, reference Boards, Sketches and plenty of organised chaos, all working together to bring concepts to life.
