Winged Sovereignty is a monumental sculptural work exploring strength, freedom, ancestry and our connection to the natural world.
Created as a bespoke commission for a private ranch in the Texas Hill Country, the 3.6-metre-wide piece brings together the powerful presence of the human figure and the eagle - a symbol of vision, protection and sovereignty.
Layered textures and sculptural detail give the work an almost ancient quality, while contemporary materials bring it firmly into the present. Winged Sovereignty is a celebration of resilience, belonging and Freedom.
